Dream – Home Depot

I dream that a few artists friends of mine are working on a collaborative art project. We’re building a large, enclosed room of some sort, with plexiglass walls. (It reminds me of an outdoor exhibit I saw once in Groningen). We’ve run out of wood and nails, so we all pile into a large white van.

We travel to Home Depot and we are all handed a brown paper bag. The sales person tells us we can fill the bag with whatever we want for free!

A guy artist (who I don’t really recongize) tries to figure out how to fit a large circular saw into a paper bag. I realize that it’s just not going to fit. So I go to the aisle with hardware, and fill my bag with packages of nails, a hammer and a miniature hand saw. Another artist goes to the paint section and fills her bag with small containers of wall paint.

I try to tell them to stick to the project – fill bag only with stuff that we need to build the unit, not get distracted by the free savings. EOD

Dream – Soaring (feet on the ground)
I dream that I am laying on my back in the middle of a field. The sun is warm on my face, but then I get the sensation that I am rising off the ground. It gives me a slight sense of panic, not having the ground supporting me. I rise up slightly, but in the dream I realize I don’t want to fly tonight…so I put my feet back on the ground. EOD
